KINLEC 2009 Pictures of Competitors - part 5

The legendary 'Rob' was in the care and keeping of Warwick Jackson

It's a freelance loco, a sort of Super Speedy and came in with a creditable 0.550 efficiency

Often seen at the 'proper' IMLEC's, Mike Harrison's Crynant Grange wasn't having much luck that day

Only returniing an efficiency of 0.216...

And finally John Hurley's Jubilee 'Thunderer' getting ready for the run. People were being asked if they wanted a ride on the prize winning run...

John got his head down and did exactly that, broke the clock on the dyno car with a staggering 1.710. A deserved first place John. How do you do it??

A disdainful lazy drip from Thunderers injector overflow after that epic run - almost as if the engine was saying 'a mere bagatel my boy...'

Mr Cookson receiving 1st prize in the 3 1/2" class from competition organiser Allen Bellamy

And Mr Hurly celebrating his 1st prize win in the 5" gauge class

A wonderful day was enjoyed by all
