- part 5 |

The legendary 'Rob' was in the care
and keeping of Warwick Jackson |
It's a freelance loco, a sort of Super
Speedy and came in with a creditable 0.550 efficiency |
Often seen at the 'proper' IMLEC's, Mike Harrison's
Crynant Grange wasn't having much luck that day
Only returniing an efficiency of 0.216... |
And finally John Hurley's Jubilee 'Thunderer'
getting ready for the run. People were being asked if
they wanted a ride on the prize winning run... |
John got his head down and did exactly that, broke
the clock on the dyno car with a staggering 1.710. A
deserved first place John. How do you do it?? |
A disdainful lazy drip from Thunderers
injector overflow after that epic run - almost as if
the engine was saying 'a mere bagatel my boy...'

Mr Cookson receiving 1st prize in the
3 1/2" class from competition organiser Allen Bellamy |
And Mr Hurly celebrating his 1st prize
win in the 5" gauge class
A wonderful day was enjoyed by all
