KINLEC 2009 Pictures of Competitors - part 4

The Black Country Steamers showed up (they heard there was some beer) and added to the entertainment

Pete Dawson's Speedy is a very well detailed loco and it obviously went as good as it looked...

Coming in 2nd pace for 5" gauge with an efficiency figure of 0.812 - well done Pete

Young Carl thought he'd have a go on Jim Piddock's Leander (he always persuades someone to let him have a drive...)

And surprisingly vastly improved Jim's figure with a 0.728, missing 3rd place by a whisker.

Ron Hopkins Super Simplex was the second of the day but this time this one completed the laps...

and turned in a figure of 0.464

Mike Stevens with his immaculately turned out Jersey Lilly. Unfortuanately there was a fall of rain at the time of his run...

And he had to retire due to a loss of traction - comiserations to you Mike - but another beautiful backhead again...
