maybe we ought to explain once again or even apologise?
Several years ago, a
club member who shall remain nameless (Allan Bellamy)
suggested we ought to have our own 'in-house IMLEC competition'
with a difference.
The difference being
that...
1. We have fun i.e.
no one is to take it too seriously (yeah...) and
2. that it would be
a great excuse for a 'social'.
Knowing how sociable
Allan can be this was readily taken up and Allan was
volunteered to run it.
It was such a storming
success that Allan was 'volunteered' again and KINLEC
2008 took place, and now KINLEC 2009.
One large breakfast,
19 (carefully??) scrutinised runs, a nine gallon barrel
of real ale, and one barbeque later....that's what you
call an efficiency competition!! |
